We stayed in a cozy twin room with lovely decor, and the friendly breakfast staff made every morning a joy. The freshly cooked breakfast was a real highlight, setting a positive tone for our family's adventures in Marlborough.
My kids wished for more space when we were navigating the narrow stairs with our luggage.

The charm of the courtyard and its bustling atmosphere added a unique vibrancy to the stay, perfect for those who enjoy lively settings. The garden area provided a lovely outdoor spot, ideal for sipping a drink and soaking in the ambiance.
The room faced the road, leading to disturbances from outside noise, including heated arguments during the night. The bathroom felt cramped, lacking adequate amenities, and some areas showed signs of neglect, such as leftover rubbish in the breakfast area that detracted from the overall experience. It seems that noise from the pub and courtyard went beyond regular hours, significantly impacting sleep quality for those unaccustomed to that level of activity.

missingWrote a review on 19 Julgreat locationwelcoming stafffunctional roomnoisy dogmoldy shower
Our stay was unfortunately marred by a very noisy dog next door that howled all night, making it impossible to sleep. The room itself had some issues, like a rusty pipe dripping in the shower and a considerable amount of mold that made using it sketchy at best. the location was great for exploring the area, and the staff were welcoming when we checked in. We decided to leave early due to the conditions as we were looking forward to visiting the ancient sites nearby.
